1) computer hardware is the collection of physical part of a computer system.
2) CPU is a piece of hardware that carries out the instruction of a computer program.
ALU is the arithmetic logic unit which preforms all the arithmetic and logical operation such as addition, substraction, logical and, OR etc.
CU is the control unit it decides the instruction, and controls all the cpu to make it work .
3) i) primary memory
ii) secondary memory.
_primary memory:this is temporary in nature, the data is lost when the computer switched off in order to store the data permanently the data has to be transfer to the secondary storage .
_ secondary memory: this is use like an achieve . it store several program document, data bsis etc.
4) _ rom can hold data without power and ram cannot.
_ rom is meant for permanent storage and ram is for temporary storage.
_ rom is slower and non volatile while ram is volatile
_ rom chip usually stores no more than a few megabytes of data while ram clip can stores as much as 16 gigabytes work of information.
5)_ the primary Memory can be directly accessed by the cpu whereas, the cpu can not directly access the secondary memory .
_ secondary memory refers to the computer internal hard drive other persistent storage which retained even when the computer is powered off.
